Osteopathy uses gentle movements, stretching, deep massage and manipulation to improve function and relieve pain. Osteopaths work on the principle that a body works best when all of its constituent parts work in harmony and treatment will aim to restore this.
A full case history will be taken before an examination and assessment of your unique problem. A treatment plan will be made and discussed with you to ensure you are happy with the proposal. You may be given personalized advice on exercises and lifestyle changes which will benefit you. You don’t need a referral from your doctor to see an osteopath, so you can usually get an appointment within a few days. Free advice is available so get in touch and I will let you know whether there are things you can do to help yourself or you need to make an appointment to see me or another type of practitioner.
I have full public liability insurance.
